A New Orleans Firm, Not A Billboard
Robert Manard grew up in New Orleans, went to Tulane Law, and opened this practice more than fifty years ago. Wendy Manard followed him to Tulane and now leads the firm.
That matters for a practical reason: we know the parishes, the courtrooms, and the adjusters. And unlike many high-volume firms, we have actually tried cases here — over a hundred of them. Insurance carriers keep track of which lawyers will go to trial, and it changes what they offer.

Common Questions
Answers Before You Call
How long do I have to file an injury claim in Louisiana?
What does it cost to hire Manard Law?
Nothing up front, and nothing at all unless we recover money for you. We work on contingency, and we go further than most firms: when medical liens and case costs would leave you with less than we collected in fees, we reduce our fee until you’re ahead.
Will my case have to go to trial?
Most cases settle. But we prepare every case as though it will be tried, because that preparation is what produces a fair settlement offer. If the insurer won’t be reasonable, we’re prepared to put it in front of a jury.
What is my case worth?
It depends on your medical treatment, lost income, the permanence of your injuries, and the available insurance coverage. Be skeptical of any lawyer who quotes a number before reviewing your records. We’ll give you an honest range once we’ve seen the file.
The insurance company already offered me money. Should I take it?
